Does Collagen+ really work?
Yes, and it's been proven on the finished formula, not just on its ingredients, which is rare for a supplement. In clinical studies, 83% of participants found their skin more hydrated after three weeks and 100% found it firmer after three months. Wrinkles were reduced by 16% on average, and by up to 66% for some participants.
When will I see results?
Most people feel their skin is more hydrated and smoother after three to four weeks. Firmness and wrinkles take longer, because your skin needs time to rebuild: those results were measured after two and three months.
How long should I take it?
One box contains 21 sticks, which lasts three weeks. We recommend a routine of at least two months (3 boxes), ideally three months (4 boxes), repeated twice a year to maintain the results.
Who is it for, and from what age?
Anyone who wants firmer, more hydrated skin, from the age of 25 to 30, when the body starts producing less collagen. It's especially relevant around perimenopause, when collagen production can drop by up to 30% in five years. For adults only.
Why marine collagen?
Marine collagen comes from fish and is mainly type I collagen, the main type found in skin. Novexpert's is broken down into very small peptides (500 Da), 4 to 8 times smaller than most collagens on the market, so your body absorbs it 4 times better.
What makes it different from other collagen powders?
Three things. Very small peptides, 45% of them di- and tri-peptides, for better absorption. A complete formula: collagen with glycine, hyaluronic acid, MSM, zinc and vitamins, including vitamin C, which contributes to normal collagen formation. And results measured on the finished product in clinical studies, something supplements aren't required to provide.
Can I take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
No. It contains no ingredient prohibited for pregnant or breastfeeding women under French regulations, but as a precaution, Novexpert does not recommend it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Can I take it if I'm allergic to fish or shellfish?
If you're allergic to fish, no: its collagen comes from fish, the only allergen in the formula. If you're allergic to shellfish, yes: Novexpert holds a certificate confirming there are no traces of shellfish.
Is Collagen+ halal?
Collagen+ is made with marine collagen from fish and contains no bovine or porcine collagen. Novexpert does not hold a halal certificate for it.
Is it vegan?
No, because its collagen comes from fish. Otherwise, it follows Novexpert's charter of more than 600 excluded ingredients: no GMOs, nanoparticles, gluten or lactose.
Does it taste fishy?
No. Novexpert worked with expert flavourists and tested more than 100 flavour combinations to create a fresh lemon taste with a hint of ginger. It's 100% natural, with no added sugar or sweeteners.
Is it safe to take every day?
Yes, it's designed to be taken every day, one stick a day. Don't exceed that dose, and for personalised advice, talk to a healthcare professional.
Can I take it with other supplements?
Yes, but check that the doses don't overlap, especially if your other supplements already contain collagen, vitamin C or zinc. Novexpert recommends taking no more than two supplements at the same time. If in doubt, ask a healthcare professional.
Does it also work on hair and nails?
Yes. In the clinical study on Collagen+, 90% of participants found their hair stronger after two months, and 83% found their nails more resistant after three months. Its zinc also contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and nails. It was designed first and foremost for skin, though.
Is it good for joints?
Collagen+ was developed and tested for skin, not joints. Its vitamin C does contribute to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage, and some of its peptides may support joint health. But if joints are your main concern, it isn't the supplement we'd recommend first.
